A Heroric Family

This past week while in San Diego, I had the pleasure of meeting Rowynn, the newest member of our military family, Lindsey and Michael.  The love that they have for each other and their children is beautiful and could be felt throughout the shoot.  Their son Hudson, who is two has a love for garbage trucks and trains.  Lindsey, is a beautiful mother who’s smile lights up the room and Michael is so calm and gentle with everyone.  I love my clients and love to learn about them.  While taking pictures I learned Rowynn (Rowrow) was a miracle baby.  While pregnant, Michael was on active duty away from his family.  A couple months ago, Lindsey was involved in a head on collision on a bridge!  The car was destroyed, her two year old, Hudson broke both legs and his arm and she went into labor right away.  She ended up in a different hospital than her son and Michael was called out by the Red Cross and flown in to be with his family during this horrible ordeal.  While in the hospital, the Dr’s told Lindsey to prepare to loose her baby. They kept working with her and luckily, little Rowrow is a Fighter.  She HELD ON TIGHT and didn’t let go!  She showed the spirit of a hero and was ready to fight for life.  The Dr’s were able to stop the contractions and Lindsey delivered her at full term with Michael by her side.  Hudson had his casts removed a couple days before our photo session and I would of never known that had happened by the way he was running around so happily.  Family flew in to help and friends have been really supportive.  After hearing their story these pictures mean so much more to me.  As I photographed, I kept thinking how blessed and special it was to be able to photograph a family of 4…a Complete family.  Thank you for sharing your story and letting me capture your love!  That’s the beauty of life.
