The Making of a Friendship

My favorite part of being a wedding and portrait photographer is getting to know awesome people.  I love my couples and love to learn about their love story.  As soon as I met Lauren and Brian at Barley Forge, a super hip brewery with AMAZING food and beer, I knew we were going to be friends.  They recommended Barley and while hanging out, I learned how much they love to travel and try new things.  I love to do the same!  Lauren has been an audience member for so many shows including Ellen.  They love to go to places like Paso Robles (beautiful and a great town for wine tasting), Mexico, and so much more.  While chilling, binge watching Netflix is a must and they’re huge fans of Game of Thrones.  So much so, their hashtag is #Youknownothingjohnstone (LOVE IT!). They’re super hip, have a great style and are so down to earth and so in love.  I love everything about them and was SOOOO happy (literally got out of my chair and started dancing) when they confirmed a week later that I would get to be their photographer!  The feeling was mutual as she told me she did the same with me (just blogging about it makes me want to dance again).  The engagement session was one of my all time favorites.  Not only did they choose the absolutely beautiful UCLA campus, and rock it with their outfit; their love was sooo raw and real and we were able to hang out, laugh a bunch and have a GREAT time!  Camila Margotta, a wonderful friend and photographer was able to join us on the session and got to meet Lauren and Brian.  We couldn’t stop talking about them after the engagement session as we ate tacos and Philly cheesesteaks at Tommy Tacos and Fat Sals (also recommended by them and a must have while in Los Angeles).  Thank you so much for entrusting me as your wedding photographer.  I would love to hang out again and can’t wait for your wedding.  Just thinking about it makes my heart warm as I truly love you guys!
