I am constantly reminded of what a wonderful job I have as a wedding photographer. One of my favorite things to do is get to know my clients and know their story. With Amira and Hunter family and friends were really important to them. When they were in High School, Hunter told her friend he would marry her one day. They became high school sweethearts and he did just that! He married her around their family and friends and it was absolutely beautiful.
After I leave a wedding I love reflecting on what made it such a special day. At Amira and Hunter’s wedding they had a surprise live performance (Egyptian Zeffe march) for their grand entrance. The wedding party danced into their own songs but Amira and Hunter were announced with the Egyptian Zeffe march. They went straight into the dance floor and all the guests got out on the floor with them before dinner was served. It set the tone for the rest of the night. Bride and groom danced all night-and got tossed in the air a couple of times. Amira included the ribbon that she wore during her first prom with Hunter-you can see it in one of the images below. They also read their vows to each other privately before the ceremony. I was shooting with my eyes full of tears as they were so beautiful!
The last thing I wanted to mention about this couple was about Amira’s name. Amira means princess and she truly lived up to her name. Her parents were beaming with pride. The quickly and easily became one of my favorites I got to photograph this year!
I love getting to know other creatives and the lineup for the this wedding was absolutely amazing.
