When Juanita messaged me through Instagram and told me all about her and Mark, I knew we would be a great fit. They have 2 super cute fur babies, they both love to help the community as she’s a teacher, and he’s a firefighter. We met up for some coffee and I got to learn all about them which I love. Like most couples, they met through tinder, had some coffee and hit it off great. One of their biggest hobbies is going rock climbing and being outdoors. Mark is a runner and thought it would be fun to get together and do a run through San Diego’s famous Blacks Beach (pretty isolated and known for hanging around in your birthday suit). Little did they know it was also San Diego’s Gay Pride week as they went for their run and ran into some interesting situations lol. Now that makes a great conversation starter!
Mark decided to pop the question on a rock climbing trip in Idllywild, CA. He set up his GoPro to capture the moment. As they reached the top of Tahquitz Rock, he got down on one knee and asked Juanita to make him the happiest man alive and marry him. She cried and said, “Yes!” The moment will forever be remembered as it was not only captured on video, but tattooed onto her arm with the symbol of Tahquitz Rock. Thank you for sharing your love story and letting me capture your love. Can’t wait for July when you say I do and we get to do some Line Dancing!
