An Emotional Gender Reveal

This Fall, I had the opportunity of traveling up to Big Bear, CA for a photo shoot and a baby gender reveal. This photo session was extra special, not only because my couple was a friend, but also because they had been trying to have a baby for years and in the process, had lost their first two babies. I had total compassion as I also had lost my first child and know the worry and sadness that goes along when this happens. It’s something you never forget, it’s something that becomes a part of who you are. We were about to find out what their baby was going to be. Both had just received news from the Dr. that “Little Foot” (name given because they could only see the little foot during the ultrasound) was doing great. They decided to take a mini vacay away from San Diego, CA and travel up to Big Bear before Little Foot arrives. Lola, their other precious baby Malteese joined the pre baby getaway. I had bought some pink and blue smoke bombs, wrapped them up, and would be handing the right one over once I checked the sealed envelope and found out the baby’s gender. I was so excitedly nervous to find out. My husband, Fernando came along to record the process and I had him check for us. My heart skipped a beat when I saw which smoke bomb he grabbed and we got ready for the big moment. One, two, three….IT’S A…….
